Our open and pragmatic approach helps us have the ’honest’ conversations which are central to helping people move towards recovery. We aim to live up to the name FOVC-Uganda Initiative by meeting people where they are at and although it can often be difficult we try effortlessly to keep people connected to the services we offer – never giving up on people by providing “Unconditional Care for the Vulnerable.”
We know trust is critical to enthusing people to support the work that we do in providing services to some of the most marginalised in our society.
We believe in transparency and accountability and that all donors have a right to know exactly how the gifts we receive are being used.
Like many organisations working to address issues affecting OVC’s, the Elderly, and people in critical Conditions, we welcome government funding, donor funding (both local and international) to enable us to swiftly deliver services to people who are in need within Kampala, Northern Uganda – Uganda.
This money is used to operate our community and accommodation based services, which are managed on a day-to-day basis by our professionally trained and caring staff. We offer 24/7 hour support 365 days a year, through our drop-in center, outreach Programs.
